Where do I even begin? The whole room was DISGUSTING! Door to the toilet was broken and had fallen off the wall, meaning you could not close it and it was hanging inside the toilet?! The sink, bathroom floor, and toilet was dirty and had insects all over the place, that crawled on you when you went inside or sat on the toilet! One night we even came home, and had big cockroaches and ants ALL over the room!! The towels we got had dirty brown stains all over them, and then the smell! The toilet smelled so strong of sewer that I had to cover my nose and night and the room smelled foul of something rotten. The ceiling was dripping with water right beside the bed, which had the same foul smell, we then looked up to discover that the ceiling was moldy!!! Which was causing the smell and water to drip! That is dangerous to live in! Just to make it even worse if you were still thinking about booking, we got LOCKED OUT at 10:30PM because they had accidentally locked the door outside? And wasn’t anywhere near so we had to yell and knock for over 30 minutes, until another guest woke up and locked us in?! Worst place I have ever been! Pictures for proof

budget place a bit out of town

This is a budget place a bit out of town. Walking around 15-20 minutes, on tricycle 5 minutes (but it is not easy to get one in front of the hotel). The people who run this hotel are very nice and accomodating, they helped us incredibly booking last minute boat tickets - I really appreciate. The place is clean too.

I understand that it is a budget place, but still the room was too basic as well as bathroom. Also the Wi-Fi was working very bad, for me it was a huge problem. Hotel in front has good Wi-Fi connection, so this doesn't depends on the area, but a provider they have chosen.

Good value for money

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They have a kitchen you can make use of if you wish. Hot showers and clean bathroom Due to the location it's really quiet and chilled out

It's maybe a little too far out of town around 20 minutes walk but a tricycle is cheap enough. WiFi is a little patchy but that's the same everywhere in coron.

Nice familiar hotel in a quiet area outside town.

It's more a private house than a hotel. They have only 5 rooms, all with aircon, so it has a familiar atmosphere and it's never busy. The two staff make everything to feel you at home. They have a big kitchen wich you can use. Ricardo Valley lies a bit outside town, the last house in an quiet alley. So it's quiet unless you have noisy people in the hotel itsself. Foot walk to town takes you 10 minutes. Or use a trycicle for 15 pesos. Highly recommended!

Mattress is a bit hard. There was a family with kids making noise in the morning.

Great place!

Clean, comfortable room. The hotel is in a quiet area, just a bit up the road from Coron town. Everything was fine!

Slow wi-fi. But I have yet to find any accomodation in Coron/Palawan with working wi-fi!

The location, and the staff.

The location, and the staff. Judith and Sharon was there to answer questions we had about tours, Coron in general. Heads up stuff on cost...how to use the trikes in town, and what’s a fair price. Also the common area was kept super clean. I’d go there again.

The road to the Inn from the main road. Needs to be regraded flat.

This is the best place you can stay in El Nido !

This is the best place you can stay in El Nido ! The hotel is just 4 min away from city centre on a small and quiet street. Super nice rooms with thick and nice madresses, good air condition, really clean, good kitchen you can use. And most important of all : So so soooo nice staff ! My boyfriend got very sick and they where so helpful with everything. I recommend this place to everyone .

Not worth staying

Room and the hall were clean.

1. The toilet shower was badly leaking which was affecting the flush. We informed the staff but no one fixed anything during whole our stay. We constantly had to close the pipe otherwise bathroom kept flooding. 2. Broken handle on the bathroom tap, was difficult to operate. No mirror in the bathroom. 3. Water boiler in the kitchen was not functioning properly. 4. Locationwise this place is located uphill so one has to take tricycle all the time to go back. If you are renting a motorcycle, it shouldn't be an issue though. 5. In general, staff was a bit hepless.

Location is out of coron town center. Good if you want to be away from noise. Not so good if you want to be in the middle of everything going on

Very good staff and quiet location

Ate Judith and ate Sharon were very nice, accommodating and friendly. The place is clean and location is very quiet and relaxing.

Some of the faucets are rusty, the management should replace it

Quiet and nice room in Coron

The staff is nice, there are only a few rooms, rooms are big with hot shower. Overal, it’s good value for money and quiet.

If you like walking or plan on hiring a scooter, it’s fine. The hotel is 30min away by walk to the city centre. There are restaurants 10min away by walk from the hotel. Cleaning was not done in the 5nights of our stay. Have your breakfast in the city as you’ll get instant coffee and powder mango juice!
